These pieces are made of 85% handcast abaca paper. The top portion is layered with Venetian Plaster and the free form copper pieces are embedded into the plaster. The cracked surface on the lower portion is created with joint compound and covered with dry pigment bees wax. This wax process is called encaustic.

The art work can be hung without framing.
