These handcast paper wall pieces are made of 85% Abaca paper. Cedar shingles have been embedded in the paper when casting the piece. The surface has been gessoed and then covered with joint compound, cement, gold or copper leaf and is painted with acrylic paint. Each piece is then embellished with copper, sticks and other found objects. They are each unique, representing the Dooorways of Transition from one life path to another. These pieces do not need to be framed.
