These pieces are made from 85% handcast Abaca paper. The cracked surface is created with joint compound and then painted with wax and pigments. This process is called Encaustic.

The feeling is reminiscent of mysterious canyons with beautiful stained and cracked stone walls.The art work can be hung without a frame.
